Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan and her long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare have finally tied the knot with each other in a court marriage at the Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai, on Wednesday, January 3, in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their family members and friends.

The first wedding video from their marriage festivity has been shared by the celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on his Instagram account. In the clip, Nupur and Ira can be seen signing their court papers as the superstar Aamir looks over them. Ira's mother Reena Dutta and Aamir's second wife Kiran Rao are also visible.

However, what attracted the most attention was Nupur's attire as he wore baniyan and shorts during his wedding ceremony. Ira was seen wearing the traditional dress for the special occassion.As their video went viral, netizens slammed the fitness trainer for his choice of outfit. Nupur Shikhare jogged for 8 km on the Mumbai roads to reach his wedding venue and played dhols and danced to dhol beats with his friends and family members outside the five-star hotel. He and Ira made their wedding official as they signed the court papers in front of their wedding guests.

Social media users are in disbelief over Nupur Shikhare wearing shorts and a vest to his wedding ceremony with Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan.

 Visuals from their ceremony are generating mixed comments from netizens about his choice of attire."C'mon guys at least give some respect to such an auspicious occasion. It is being said that Nupur jogged from his residence in Santacruz to the wedding venue. He was then seen dancing to dhol beats, so wearing an athleisure outfit seems reasonable and practical because of the given reasons.
